Global Health Away Electives
Global Health Away Electives
Like all academic programs, we are working to rebuild international away electives after the COVID pandemic shut down most opportunities.
REACH is working to build and maintain partnerships for a number of away electives; however, all away electives fall under the authority of the GME office which determines a resident’s eligibility. More detailed instructions on how to apply for an away elective are provided below.
REACH Travel Grants
REACH is proud to provide travel grants to help offset the cost of away electives. Awards are typically between $200 to $1,000 depending on elective cost and duration. Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. Funding is limited and REACH will work hard to accommodate as many requests as possible.
