The purpose of the Baystate Continuing Interprofessional Education Department is to facilitate the continuous professional development of those responsible for the health and well-being of our patients and community. We provide access to educational activities that maintain or enhance skills, competence, inspiration, and performance.

Education for the team, by the team

Baystate Health has been a jointly accredited provider of continuing education for the healthcare team since 2013. This status supports interprofessional continuing education by the team, for the team and allows for simultaneous accreditation of continuing education activities for multiple professions through a single, unified application process.

Baystate Health Continuing Interprofessional Education has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP#5684. Baystate Health is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.

Our educational activities support safe, evidence-based collaborative, compassionate, and efficient patient, and community centered care. These educational opportunities promote the transfer of knowledge, improved skills, and changes in attitudes which reinforce or introduce best practice for patient care.
