Parking for Patients and Visitors
We offer free parking 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Valet parking services are available Monday – Friday from 8 am – 4:30 pm.
The cafeteria is on the lower level of the hospital. We welcome visitors seven days a week during the following hours:
Monday - Friday
- Breakfast: 7 - 10:30 am
- Full breakfast: 8 - 10 am
- Lunch: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- Dinner: 4 - 6pm
Saturday and Sunday
- Breakfast: 7 - 10:30 am
- Lunch: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Byte Coolers in the Café
Freshly prepared self-service food options are available through our Byte cooler technology on the first floor of the Country Bank building. The Byte cooler will offer assorted snacks, beverages, sandwiches, and salads. There will also be a Keurig machine on the counter to brew coffee selections that can be purchased from Byte. All items will be available 24/7 and can be purchased with the use of a credit card.

Visiting Hours & Policies
Visiting is allowed from 8 am to 8 pm daily. The following guidelines are based on CDC, DPH, and State recommendations.
Infection Control
Masking is encouraged (but not required) in patient rooms and patient care areas for visitors.
ALL visitors (also referred to as "care partners") must adhere to Baystate Health infection control practices that are in effect throughout our organization. All visitors must clean their hands before entering and leaving the patient’s room.
Policy Highlights
- 2 visitors at a time for inpatients
- 1 visitor at a time for adult emergency department
- 2 parents/guardians at a time for pediatric emergency department
- 2 parents/guardians at a time for Baystate Children's Hospital
- 2 visitors at a time for patients in the ICU (intensive care unit)
- 2 designated care partners in room for childbirth delivery. 1 designated care partner may stay for the duration of the postpartum recovery. 1 additional visitor may visit during visitation hours.
- Children ages 5-18 must be accompanied by an adult if visiting.
- Hospice/End-of-Life patients may have more than two visitors at a time.
- 1 care partner for surgical patients may remain with patient through admission and accompany into pre-op area. After the patient departs to the procedure room, the care partner may remain in the waiting area during the procedure/surgery.
- 1 care partner is allowed in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for visitation during extended period of post-operative care. A care partner may enter the PACU when the patient is ready for discharge to help with the discharge process and receive discharge instructions with the patient. If the patient is admitted, the care partner will follow the general visitation guidelines.
Policy for Patients Who Have COVID-19
Policies are the same for patients who have COVID-19, except:
- The one care partner or visitor allowed in the adult emergency department must wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
- No children under 14 unless a designated exception applies.
