DANIEL DESIMONE, DO

Medical School: New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine
Residency: New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center Valhalla, NY
Dan grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island, and had his parents as role models who worked with kids and adults with developmental disabilities and emotional/behavioral struggles. He received a B.A. in philosophy from Rhode Island College, then completed medical school and residency in New York (NYITCOM and NYMC respectively), before returning closer to home for fellowship at Baystate. Dan finds meaning in and appreciates treating the broad spectrum of reasons/ circumstances/ diagnoses for which children and families present to see a C&A psychiatrist. He particularly finds helpful applying his training in psychodynamic thinking to understanding the patients and families he sees. Dan enjoys traveling/backpacking internationally (next trip Croatia?), hiking, meditating, enduring HIIT workouts, and attending Hartford Wolfpack and Yard Goats games.
MICHAEL O'SULLIVAN, DO

Dr. O’Sullivan is completing his DO at UNECOM. Michael is from New Jersey. Before college, Michael was an adaptive ski instructor for kids with physical and emotional disabilities. He attended Fordham University for his undergraduate studies in English. Between college and medical school, he was a research coordinator for Alzheimer’s therapeutic trials. During medical school, he has been active in APA, AMA, and neuro/psych club. He has had Psychological First Aid and MAT training. In his spare time, Michael enjoys reading, creative writing, music production, playing piano, meditation, surfing, skiing, soccer, and hiking.
JOSEPH "BUCK" JABAILY, DO

Residency: Psychiatry Residency - UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate, Springfield, MA
Joseph "Buck" Jabaily completed his Psychiatry Residency at Baystate before joining the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. He graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He has a BA in theatre arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he later did his post-bacc studies. Prior to medical school he was involved in the arts in Baltimore, running several theatre companies as well as working as an educator. He is married and the father of two children.
