Advanced Treatment Technology
Baystate Children’s Hospital is home to the region’s only outpatient EEG (electroencephalogy) facility designed for children of all ages, located within our practice at the Baystate Children’s Specialty Center.
Your child’s EEG – a test that measures brain activity – is done by a pediatric EEG technician, without sedation. We offer inpatient video and ambulatory EEG monitoring for selected patients.
Most of the care we provide is on an outpatient basis. If needed, our child-life specialists are onsite to help make your child’s experience as stress-free as possible.
We also provide pediatric sleep evaluations for babies, children, and teens in the Baystate Neurodiagnostics & Sleep Center – the only facility in the area with specially-trained experts to perform sleep studies on children of all ages, including infants.
