Baystate Pulmonary - Springfield, a service of Baystate Medical Center, specializes in treating adults with lung diseases. Our board-certified specialists are nationally recognized for quality and expertise in the care of patients. We see patients, with new or chronic lung problems, who live in western Massachusetts and beyond. As a service of Baystate Medical Center, we provide educational programs to help you recover after illness and suggest ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Baystate Pulmonary Non-cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis (NCFB) Clinic offers treatment options for people living with chronic lung conditions.
The clinic uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat NCFB. Patients are seen by infectious disease physicians, thoracic surgeons and physicians who have an interest and do research in NCFB. Dieticians, speech therapists and respiratory therapists also collaborate to ensure optimal care of patients.
