Our Treatments for Neurological Conditions
Once we’ve accurately diagnosed your neurological disorder, you and your doctor will work together on a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan based on your unique needs. We offer a vast range of specialized treatments for neurological conditions — from rehabilitation and pain-management strategies to advanced neurosurgery.
We often use a class of treatments called neurointerventions. These procedures are performed through a catheter — a long, flexible tube inserted into a blood vessel. Our neurologists can pass tiny tools through the catheter to complete many complex procedures, including:
- Treating aneurysms (weakened, bulged area of an artery)
- Treating embolisms (sudden blocking of an artery, usually by a blood clots)
- Placing stents (a metal or plastic tube that keeps a blood vessel open)
We also offer several types of therapeutic injections to relieve pain and improve the symptoms of some neurological disorders. These injections can last for several weeks to several months at a time, and you’ll work with your doctor to create a regular injection schedule that meets your needs.
