Program Signaling

For the 2024 ERAS® cycle, program signals will be fully integrated into the MyERAS application for applicants. UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate Internal Medicine Residency Program is participating in signaling.

  • For Internal Medicine, 15 program signals are allowed: 3 gold and 12 silver.
  • If our program aligns with your values and aspirations, you can signal our program by institution rather than by specific tracks.
  • For 2024, the AAIM recommends that students signal their home institution and away rotations.
  • While we preferentially review applications from those who signal our program, we also consider applicants who do not signal our program.
  • Signals are utilized only during our initial screening as part of a holistic application review for interview invitations and not as part of the ranking process.
