Application Process
- This fellowship is accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program with oversight by the SSO Training Committe
- We participate in the SSO Breast Match. Refer to the Match website for required application documentation.
Applicant Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in general surgery or OB/GYN
- Board certified or Board eligible
- Eligible for a full Massachusetts license and hospital credentials
- Fulfill Baystate's Resident/Fellow Appointment Requirements
Institutional Policy on Visa Status
J1 Visas
Baystate Medical Center sponsors J1 Visas through ECFMG for applicants who are eligible for appointment to a fellowship position.
H1B Visas
The availability of the institution to support H1B Visas is very limited. Under exceptional circumstances, the Program Director and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Baystate Medical Center will review H1B applications.
Interviews
Virtual Interviewing
Interviews will be conducted virtually using one of the chosen platforms—Zoom, Webex or Thalamus.
