Allied Health Overview

Each year, over 400 allied health students complete clinical experiences at Baystate Medical Center (BMC). The majority of allied health students that seek clinical experiences at BMC are enrolled in programs at local colleges and universities, and complete clinical experiences as part of associate, baccalaureate, masters and doctoral-level work.

The office of Allied Health Education (AHE) connects students enrolled in allied health programs to their clinical experience at Baystate Medical Center. Prior to starting your clinical experience, all allied health students must be cleared by AHE.
