The Baystate Simulation Center, which also houses the Goldberg Surgical Skills Laboratory, is a 4,000 square-foot facility where the most advanced, innovative teaching techniques and simulation technology are applied to the teaching of medicine. It is one of fewer than 50 simulation centers in the world that is accredited by the American College of Surgeons.
These dynamic teaching tools allow for hands-on learning of procedural and cognitive skills in a critical, real-life environment - and without risk to patients or staff.
