The Baystate Medical Center Resident Spouse Association (BRSA) is a philanthropic, social and support organization for the spouses, significant others and families of residents, fellows and recent graduates. (Download flyer)

Membership is free and extends to all spouses/significant others and families of Baystate residents, fellows and recent graduates.

• There is no commitment, except to have fun!

• Members are encouraged to become active in the organization—our success relies on your participation.

• Each year, new officers and committee members are nominated.

What We Do

• Welcome new families to the Pioneer Valley

• Organize affordable social functions

• Act as a social and support network

• Special service projects

Monthly Events

The BRSA plans fun monthly events designed to bring families together and foster lifetime friendships. The also give residents, fellows, recent graduates and their families the opportunity to socialize outside of work and have fun at events such as:

• Gatherings at local bars and restaurants

• Cookouts/Potlucks at member homes

• Playgroups and family friendly events

• Several larger events throughout the year

Our Mission

The Baystate Resident Spouse Association will provide a welcoming community for residents and fellows and their families, and foster fellowship between families in order to build a strong foundation for successful training as a resident or fellow and a rewarding medical career as an attending physician.
